Outplacement

We have several tiers of services designed to make outplacement effective and affordable for you. Our services are not time limited by month, and can be accessed for up to one year from an individual’s release date. Employers can set a service fee cap which determines the amount of money available for each employee. The employee can then create the program that best suits his or her needs while controlling the costs to you, the company. This is all done in a consultation with a CEG consultant.

A general description of our outplacement services:

  • 1st tier – Front line employees – basic services
  • 2nd tier – Managers/Supervisors – 1st tier plus one on one coaching
  • 3rd tier- President, Sr. VP- 2nd tier plus Entrepreneurial/Executive start-up curriculum
  • 4th-tier – CEO, COO – 3rd tier services plus executive coaching and recruiter sessions

  • Other outplacement companies pre-package a set of services into “fixed-month” programs of various lengths. If you have shopped for outplacement services before, you are likely familiar with making decisions such as choosing between a three month and a six month program for an employee whose specific needs you might know little about. This artificial and costly fixed-month packaging of services hinders employers and employees.
  • Many times, released employees have particular needs and timelines that their employer is unaware of when trying to determine an outplacement program for them. It is not unusual for an employer to overpay by providing for a fixed-month outplacement program, paid for in advance, that an employee does not completely use.
  • It is also not unusual for a pre-determined outplacement service term to be over well before the released employee has become re-hired.
  • There is considerable inefficiency and lost when some released employees get more service than needed and others get less. Unfortunately, the employer’s act of generosity in providing outplacement can be seen by them as insufficient and/or unrealistic. This may result in unwarranted employee animosity toward the employer.
